First Poem--Not!

Update: Daddy learned today that this was a poem they learned for their Easter program.  Oh, well.  It was neat that she wrote out the words by memory! :)

Sarah had a burst of creativity the other night and wrote this on her own about the blossoms on a nearby tree (only getting help with spelling the word "apricot").

I looked out the window

What did I see 

Popcorn popping on a apricot tree

Spring has brought me

a wonderful surprise

I would make a treat

that would smell so sweet

I would make a popcorn ball

It looks like popcorn popping on a apricot tree!
